I live in CO. The fans dont care about the PAC, they miss the traditional rivalries. They get good crowds as the biggest college name in a state of nearly 6 million but there's no passion around the athletic program and California recruiting hasn't replaced Texas recruiting.

All you have to do is look at PAC attendance vs Big 12 attendance as a reflection of the local demographic to see what's happened.
