We were a good team and got wrecked by a USC team that was more athletic.

Pope decided he wanted more athletes even if he had to develop the talent. I don’t think it’s working, and he has lost a lot of players he probably wishes he could have had. I know Colby Lee wasn’t a great big but he was serviceable. Conner was our best defender and has beat us since he went to UVU.

Pope has had some great moments but it sure seems like the program has regressed quite a bit under him.
