Ok, here is what you do. When she confirms that's the reason she is mad,
Get upset with her like this:
"What?" "Why do you hate me?"
Wife: I don't hate you.
"Then why are you dreaming that I'm a jerk?" "Subconsciously, you must hate me." "You obviously think so little of me, that you'd make up horrible dreams about me."
Turn her irrational behavior back on her.
