I've driven that hwy for 30 plus years 6 or 7 times a year including during storms...it is not good. Too many drivers drive to fast and not much Forgiveness if someone loses control.

If your wife drives in snow regularly that's one thing but if she doesn't and is not comfortable with it and experienced then I would advise against it Sunday night or Monday when storm is here.

At minimum have 4wd or AWD and snow tires and possibly plastic snow cleats if she knows how to put them on.
