...as a whole. For example, Watch Fouss on D when an opposing big man is on the perimeter. He's sagging 15 ft off down in the paint guarding nobody. SDAK bigs hit 3 of 6 from 3pt range yesterday and were so open they were taking set shots.
Fouss' D is also an issue when his man is setting screens for the ball handler out top in PNR. Fouss typicallyl sags way off down into the key which gives the opposing team a man advantage and leads to some one else on D having to slide over to help. This leads to open shots.
Maybe the biggest problem is we're not very disciplined as a team. For example, Some Guys seem more determined to NOT get beat off the dribble than others. This leads to problems that we saw a lot of vs SDAK. One is when our guy defending the ball gets beat on the dribble drive, we can't have 2 or 3 teammates all leave their men to go help, not against decent to good 3pt shooting teams. Too many times SDAK had multiple shooters open on the perimeter.
Another problem that stems from our not being determined enough on the ball is that we have long-armed guys who would rather reach than to move their feet. This leads to cheap fouls.
