It started weekly when my wife's parents divorced. We were there to support my MIL, and it became tradition. We
are actually scaling it back lately and staying home at least one sunday per month. I don't really mind it, it's pretty chill.

We have dinner at my MIL's condo nearly every Sunday. Two of my BILs bring their not small dogs with them every time.
