I don't know how good he is and I tend to trust the coaches
for a long list of reasons, but I don't think concluding a LB who didn't play, even on a team with a poor defense, is bad when he just returned from a mission within the past 12 months is smart.
I am not concerned a great deal about Tate Romney but I reject the notion that him not playing last year, specifically given his recent return from mission service, indicates he won't be a good D1 LB.
I also reject the notion that he is transferring because BYU isn't good when he is transferring to ASU- if that rumor ends up true.
