I think sometimes coaches are so deep in the forest, they can’t see the trees.
Several years ago, the fans recognized some obvious problems on the defense, but coaches and media ignored it and chalked it up to fan ignorance.
I’m not suggesting fans know more than coaches, but I really do think we have a different perspective that shouldn’t be totally dismissed.
Kalani is way too late in making defensive changes, and it will set the program back several years. He may or may not survive.
