The problem is that it depends a lot vehicle to vehicle and conditions change quickly.
You can be going along at freeway speeds on bare roads with sunny skies in a RWD pickup and hit ice on a bridge/overpass and be upside down in the median in the blink of an eye.

Here's another tip. No cruise control when it's slick. Just shut it off. It will get you into trouble.
