What prompted you to go with this decision? I'm also thinking about switching to solar panels, but I'm nervous about the cost. I can imagine all the benefits I could extract, especially after reading through an article on yenex.com about autonomous energy for the house. I'd be very grateful for any pointers on where to start with. I’m in sunny CA at the moment, but it’s likely that I’ll be moving up to Seattle by spring of next year. Wish I didn’t need to, but hey.
