I had a job writing software to give auto insurance quotes. You’d take the rating manual for a given insurance company
in a specific state (they are public information so we would get them through requests with the dept of insurance) that had hundreds of pages all of their formulas and actuary tables and rules. It was tedious work. And tax
laws are easily 100x more tedious.
