1. 8% contribution to 401(k). Will match another 4% with a 5% contribution. That is a total of 17% for a 5% contribution.
2. Half tuition for children and full tuition for spouse (my wife has thought about going back and getting a Masters). Applicable to most BYU campuses.
3. Free access to athletic facilities (gyms, weight rooms, etc)
4. 10% discount at BYU Store
5. Reduced ticket prices for sporting and cultural events
My current institution doesn't have (2)-(5) at all, and (1) is comparable with 7.5% mandatory contribution and 7.5% match.
