Agreed, But season 1. Unpopular opinion. . . I don't like season 1 Michael.
I feel like Steve Carrell was the right guy for Michael Scott in the series. . . But in season 1 he seemed a little to Simon Cowell rude and not enough lighthearted fun.
I don't know who decided to give him a new haircut and change his mannerisms, but seasons 2-3 were AMAZING TV.

I think that is a valid POV. 6 and 7 were MUCH more hit and miss than earlier seasons but there were quality
