I especially appreciate the ZOPA idea. My wife and I met with him today and he wanted to tell me that the land wasn’t for sale so we changed tactics. We tried to befriend him and learn all we could about how he plans to use the land.

He was very open and easy going. We think we have a potential opening and he offered to show me around his office on Monday so we can see his vision for the property behind our house.

From what he told us, there’s a decent chance we can convince him to sell at least an acre to us. Which we’d be please to have. We hoped to get farther but we made some headway.
