IMHO, no. A message needs to be given to these players that they are not above the system; they need to play with sound fundamentals; they need to use their heads instead off thinking they are “above the law”.
There are times this team plays on fire and looks like they can’t be beat, but far too often they play like a bunch of kids who learned how to pass, shot, and dribble by playing NBA 2K-whatever. It makes them look bad. It makes Pope look incompetent that he does nothing about it during the games.
