Chances of winning or tying this game on the last play are remote…but if we have Zeke snap it basically all by himself, and line up everyone else up way out wide…that will improve our chances! It has to right?

And then someone is like - well…yes but maybe we should leave some linemen in to block?

No! That’s just it! That is what they will expect! We will totally throw them off by leaving no one in to block but Zeke, who is our RB and we will have him play center! It’s genius!

Sure…it isn’t the reason they lost. And the chances of them scoring on that play were incredibly low to begin with, regardless of how they lined up…but it is the most memorable reminder of what a disaster of a game it was for Dallas and a perfect example of what happens when you try to out think the room.
