We were in that game till the last few minutes against a more balanced roster tht included without-question the top two scorers on the floor (possibly the top 3). On the road (not that the crowd was all that bad — but still).
What I saw in that game was just about opposite of what you said. We had the right game-plan; we even executed it pretty well. But we didn't get enough guys stepping up to take the shots we needed. And then hitting them. We let their superior talent really get to us, imo. Several of our players did, anyways.
We defended our guts out, though. And forced Clara to take quite a few tough shots. Which --particularly Justice-- knocked down more than a few of.
USF — now that was the game we didn't perform so well in. The game where we lost our bearings pretty hard a few times.
