Of course the coaches are going to be optimistic!

I'm judging my opinion based on watching BYU football for 40 years (lifetime).
I hope BYU proves me wrong. I don't think Slovis will be as good as Jaren. I don't think the WR corps will be as good as last years. The o-line may be worse. And the BYU D is a guess right now.

Been to two games there in the last 10 years. Honestly, the game day atmosphere was underwhelming compared to Arkansas.
