Employer: I appreciate your hard work, but I'm paying your salary and you need to be in the office.

Worker: But, I like remote work.

Employer: Great, then go work somewhere else.

#TIA - If you don't like your employer's work culture, in-office, remote, he/she is a jerk, whatever...go get a new job. But, don't whine and complain about something you're not willing to change for yourself.
