About 12 years ago, two boys in my ward received their eagle scout awards at the same time. They were best friends.
When the first one got up to talk after receiving the award, one of the things he said was "Thank you mom and dad for grounding me from videogames until I finished up my eagle. They were a couple of the best months."
When the second young man got up, he started with "Thank you to Mark's parents from grounding him from videogames. They really were some of the best months."
Still makes me laugh thinking about it.
