Mixed up. Her last two suggestions for boys activities were to “paint and talk about our feelings”, and to do a heart attack for a couple in our ward.

For the record, I headed these off.

There are some great ideas online. Some great activities we’ve done have involved food. We did a lesson on knife safety and then we chopped vegetables and made dump salsa. Another day we chopped and made calzones. We have plans to talk about fire safety and then cook outside.

Learn a new sport, play a sport with the elders, we had a series of activities where we made “calming boxes”(made things for them every week for about 6 weeks). Also we collected self care items to donate to a local retirement center (lotion, soaps, etc).

You could learn about caring for animals, learn about growing plants, build something together.
