He actually did a lot better than you would think, especially towards the end. His 2015 class had
Brady Christiansen, Harris LaChance and Kieffer Longson. His 2016 class that Kalani held onto had Clark Barrington, Saleapaga and the younger Gentry which helped him get the older Gentry. Remember while he was at Virginia he pulled a lot of very good member recruits that BYU was after.
What he lacked for most of his tenure was a good OL coach. Weber was terrible and square jaw was better but no Grimes.
