Especially the x-tudo and cachorro quente, they probably wouldn’t taste nearly as good as they did when you were eating rice and beans for every meal and relished any chance to eat something different.

I used to feel the same about açaí bowls and smoothies but now they are so easily accessible here that I realized they taste the same here as they did in Brasil. I just felt differently about them when I first got back because you couldn’t find them anywhere here a decade ago.
