Radio pop maybe, but genres like Dream Pop are still evolving today
The late 80s and early 90s are my favorite era of music. They kickstarted some really music going forward.
I will say that over the past 5 years, with the help of Spotify (and others), the amount of great music (my taste in music) has grown exponentially. There are many good undiscovered bands playing today.
