My MIL had to be sent to her room last night after trying to stab my 15 year old
with a fork.
She was put in timeout.
Alzheimers sucks.
But the one good thing is when she gets mad at somebody she forgets why 5 minutes later.
And one last comment: my wife is a freaking angel.

She started hiking last night in minus 5 degree weather. I had to go get her.

Sorry. In seriousness, sounds like it's' time for her to go in a home. My grandpa had to do that

If she is trying to stab people, it’s time imo.

Might be time for her to be in a home. That's dangerous.

My mom got it in mid 50s. By the time she was 62, she was mostly gone mentally. It is terrible.

Anti psychotic. Extremely helpful when there is aggression in Alzheimer’s.

Another thing, you may want to start learning some new things with your wife. Like a new language or memorizing poems.
