From what I'm seeing IF the "old members" only played 2/4 of the "new members",
then that would be 10*4 = 40 games against "new members". That would be 5 games each. It would create a need for the new teams to play 4 additional games EACH (not 4 additional games total).
Yes, the "new schools" can easily play a schedule of "2 new" and "7 old". I'm just saying that such a schedule would require 8 of the "old members" to play 3 "new schools" and only 6 "old schools".
