Two very different questions there

How does this class stack up?

This class, especially with the addition of Martin, is fantastic.  Even accounting for rating inflation, this is our best class in a LONG time.

Our best class (by this metric) since 2003...and 247 ratings were a bit more of a hodgepodge then.  We had a couple that were close when we wer MWC, but it's clear how badly Independence hurt us.  The above chart also doesn't include the transfers we brought in.  Given the increased number of transfers, there's no doubt this is our best recruiting class ever

Has BYU done enough to replace what was lost to the transfer portal, graduation, and NFL?

Given the increase in transfer portal and our many losses there (as well as the many superseniors leaving), we probably also lost as much as we ever have (or at least nearly so).  Not just high end-talent, but depth across the entire roster.

It's harder to say if we've replaced our losses or not.  A huge part of this hinges on Slovis.  Is he the borderline Heisman candidate he was as a freshman at USC?  Or is he the guy that completed 58% of his passes last year (with 10 TDs and 9 interceptions) at Pitt? (incidentally, he's not the only question - will Robbins be the guy who couldn't get on the field at Louisville...or is he the guy who rushed for 1k at UNLV - though it's worth noting that nearly a quarter of that came in one game against North Texas)

Beyond that, there's a lot of experience leaving.  Kids come in more ready than ever to make an impact... but Ethan Thomason isn't going to immediately replace Blake Freeland, no matter how highly rated he was.  Even if we replaced all of our players with equal talent, it's likely to take a while for them to mature and perform at the same level.

Bottom line: Not knowing how the transfers will perform means there is a lot of variability in how BYU plays this next year.  Could be better, could be substantially worse.  Given the lack of experience and cohesiveness, my best bet is that we take a slight step back, but it's largely due to youth and that those players will get experience and grow for the (better) future
