Grandpa was born in Vegas and grew up when there were 5000 people there. On top of his own profession he always bought held and sold land and owned quite a bit down by the strip. Honestly he was worth millions anyway but I never even knew it until I was in high school and my mom told me. They lived in a 1500 ft home and drove their cars forever. We drank out of old yogurt containers at their home so I thought they were broke but they had simply thrived off living how they had seen their parents live during the depression. Very good people who just loved to go to the temple and be with family. When they passed they left everything to the church except a few thousand $ to each of their 10 kids so that each family could go on a special vacation on them.
