They hit their targets, but they didn't exceed them, so the rank and file won't get bonuses, sadly. The execs, of course, will still get their six and seven figure payouts. That bonus thing is kind of crazy. My wife is probably getting moved into a director roll later this year and the official salary will be unchanged, but instead of getting a 5-10% bonus (that 2/3 of the time never happens anyway), would be a bonus nearly equal to her salary, and those guys usually get paid whether they hit their targets or not.
It sounds like great money, but I'm not really excited about it, as she already has these six o'clock AM calls with India, and I only see more of that at the next tier of responsibility, together with more travel, etc., right at a time of life when kids are moving out of the house and I want more freedom from work responsibilities, not less.
