My wife had a fall nearly a year ago, and after about 2 months started having really bad pain in her shoulder, then after a while her elbow, and now more recently her neck, all same side of the body.
She's managed with various pain treatments, months of physical therapy, and had Xrays and MRIs. She'll have good days where the pain is barely noticeable, but its always there and some days its really bad.
XRays came back with nothing wrong. Got MRIs (shoulder and elbow), and just got the results back, and both are showing normal. This in particular was very frustrating as in order to get her arm in a position for the elbow MRI, it was exceedingly painful, and still hurts days later, only for it to come back as "fine".
Doctor is asking if she wants to increase her pain medicine, but she tired of just taking medicine and wants the source of the pain found.
We really don't know where to go next with this and if there are other avenues we should pursue that would be appreciated.
