Sure ASU isn't desperate and should feel like they have options. But, what

happens if the Big12 gets antsy and takes say Arizona and one other. ASU stays and is fine? Maybe, maybe not. But the pac10 is even worse off and falls farther behind in the arms race.

Then the ACC has issues and loses teams. ASU might be in a bad spot if the Big12 looks only east.
