It's very hard to explain, but the closest most people may be able to relate to is when you're dreaming sometimes it's about something very strange, but while you are dreaming it makes total sense. I tried a few in my wild high school days and it's hard to describe, but it just makes your mind think very differently. I'm not sure how that would help depression and anxiety because I've never really had those. Maybe I haven't because I did those in my youth, who knows?
