I would suspect Alabama or GA or The Ohio State or another top program would be chomping at the bit, throwing money at a coach like that if he were available, and even if he wasn't available, they would be trying everything they could to lure him away from BYU. I would go so far down the top programs in the nation until I got to the stinking utes level. Surely the stinking utes would leap at the chance and throw mountains of money also to grab such a coach.

Yes, you're right, our DC was unjustly judged, we really did have a fantastic DC who taught, coached, came up with varied and wildly creative defenses, and recruited far above our weight class. I fear how far we now will fall on the D side of the ball.
