Teaching my son how to play LOTR Risk (best version IMO)
Son: Dad, how long is this game?
Me: sometimes it takes hours.

Son: how far along are we?
Me: we just finished setting up. We haven’t even started yet.
First time I’ve ever seen the combined emotion of “this is going to be fun” alongside “what did I just sign up for” in my son’s eyes.
