I tend to always go with St. Louis.
The easy answer is because I'm cheap - and you can get more bang for your buck, larger ribs at a lower per/lb cost.

But I've really come to like the St. Louis cut. Baby backs are OK too. Honestly - when push comes to shove I just buy whatever is cheapest. Taste isn't all that different to me, nor is cooking them.
