Anyone else diagnosed with this? It's a condition whose name doesn't suggest a cause, just the effects:

--idiopathic: no known reason (not associated with diagnosed diabetes, for example)
--peripheral: toes, fingers (not central nervous system)
--neuropathy: problems with nerves

Mine's not awful: no pain really. Just numbness, and, in winter, perpetually cold extremities. The numbness can lead to weird injuries from not feeling pain immediately.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any success getting to the bottom of it and at least slowing progression. I understand there's no recovering the nerves that are gone.
