Synchrony tends to be higher by about 25 basis points. Sofi too, but they are a

relative newcomer. The thing I like about Sofi is they pay 2.5% on checking. That was worth moving banks for IMO. I keep my longer term liquid savings at Vanguard in my brokerage account. Sychrony and Sofi seem like they move up faster. To be seen if they move down faster too.

FYI - Sychrony is old GE Capital. Ally is old GMAC. Good trivia there.

It’s a savings account. No required duration, no fees. It has been easy to move
