for instance I believe some teams have stated they will look at B2B and have a criteria for scheduled losses (or alternatively games they feel like they can win without stars) and use that to drive which half of B2B their guys sit.
I'd imagine they do the same for the general load management aspects of the schedule. I think it's silly and I've not yet seen any articles on the advanced analytics of it all, but...yeah I still feel like the league has to do something - especially when the tickets are sold in advance and usually at a premium.
