He is friends with the judge who ruled on the snowboarders suing Alta over Alta's discriminatory no snowboarding policy. The judge is also a skier. He told our attorney that it was the funnest order he issued in his legal career. We have a condo at Canyons side of PC so we do almost all of our skiing there, but Alta truly is a religious experience. I ski with my Plebe year West Point roommate for a week every February at Canyons and take him up to Alta one day every couple of years. He doesn't want to go too often to ruin how special that place can be.
