I encountered a gentleman on a transatlantic flight from Europe to Chicago one time wearing a BYU shirt/hoodie, and could not resist stopping to compliment him on his good taste. Turns out he was a Wyoming fan who had an annual bet with a BYU fan and which ever fan's team lost the game that year, had to wear the winning teams fan gear for some # of days during the following year. He chose days when traveling abroad to wear it, hoping to have fewer conversations than he'd suffer at home on his choice of apparel.
