He got the record, during a losing season (25-30), on a night his team (that he engineered/handpicked) lost by three (always seems to just not quite measure up to Jordan because he doesn't win enough) in a game where both teams scored 130 points or more (scoring record means a little less in a league where scoring is insanely inflated). I don't have strong feelings about Lebron or the NBA, but I just thought it was funny seeing espn show a ton of shots with Lebron's hands raised in celebration and seeing the caption: "Loss 133-130."
