nothing was on the table from the networks due to insufficient content or what was on the table was too low to keep the Pac10 competitive with other conferences.

So now they look to add SDSU and SMU. That may solve the insufficient content issue but I don’t see any scenario where the additional money to the tv contract nets any more per team when there are two more mouths to feed.

Maybe unequal revenue sharing will keep them afloat for awhile but that won’t work for long. I just don’t see how they survive.
