Their calling card was NY bowls, top 10 rankings and standing out nationally. The only value would be if they brought
that potential to the table for the new conference.
If they can't do that in the MW, they won't do that as a P5. That was their only draw. Not sure they can complain.
Interesting though that both TCU and Utah, who were less renowned in the non BCS world than Boise, have returned to multiple NY bowls in their new conferences...while Boise has fallen off the national radar.
Poor timing.
