If you really want to know what it's all about, and don't mind dropping $20, buy a Cherry MX switch
test kit. It comes with various mechanical switches and o-rings so you can try various combos.

When you find a key that "feels" the way you want it, then order the keyboard with those switches.

I prefer brown with o-rings and blues without o-rings. I still need to buy o-rings for my work keyboard, I think it'd quiet it a little bit and improve the feel for me (but at a minor loss of speed).
