The amount of disrespect that single ad showed to our Military and Veterans especially those that gave their lives was a deal breaker for me as a veteran, what exactly did Kaepernick lose? A multimillion dollar contract? He's not hurting for money. My money is insignificant to Nike, I try to never give them any but still have to get some BYU gear. As a veteran i'd fight for their right to make that ad and for Kaepernick to sit, stand or kneel during the anthem but please don't ask me to be grateful for anything nike does. Let's not forget the school they heavily sponsor recently had the student section chanting F the mormons and we didn't hear a word out of nike regarding that bit of religious bigotry. I'd rather have uniforms made by the 12th ward relief society than nike.
