Great leaders come in all personality types. Leaders are usually the biggest thinkers in the group, emotionally stable, passionate about achieving common goals, and bring the group along willingly and enthusiastically.

Whether they talk much or not has nothing to do with it. A leader who has those qualities will talk when necessary.
