I don't know how much better it gets for Donors.
I have a friend who knows a huge donor for the university of Michigan. The donor runs a family owned steel production company and has donated millions of dollars every year to the university of michigan football team for the past 30 years. My friend got to go with him to a University of Michigan football practice last year, and michigan rolled out the carpet for him. They got to watch practice all day, and coach even stopped practice to introduce the donor to all of the players and talk about how much his contributions meant. My friend was very impressed at how the donor was treated during the whole thing. Michigan does a good job at keeping the donors happy.

I don't know how much of this stuff happens at BYU. I know you can get access to lunches and talks about seating and tickets, but you also don't get a say where your money goes, and IDK how special the top tier donors get treated. Maybe people with more BYU experience could correct me on this, but they could improve how well the top donors get treated.
