My best friend from HS had a brother who joined the Navy and was up for some high end program there and they had to do background checks. One of his friends thought it’d be funny to say the guy sold his body for drugs, etc. Navy didn’t get the joke and my friend’s brother didn’t get the promotion. Very sad and very dumb on his friend’s part.
