The wife and I live in Texas and enjoy it, but sometimes talk about living closer to family in Utah, and the mountains, but not interested in moving back to Utah itself right now.

We got to talking about Grand Junction as a spot closer to home with opportunities for outdoor activity and motorcycle riding. Montrose came up in our search as well.

Wondering if anyone here has lived in either area and could share any thoughts?
