My wife handles all the money, and there in lies the problem, the last couple of years I went totally hands off and apparently we really suck at communicating in certain aspects of our lives. A month ago as we were discussing what to do with tax returns and bonuses, is when I discovered how truly in the hole we were, at least it made the decision easy on what to do with the extra funds. It's going to be a lean year. I don't blame my wife, it was just as much my fault. We're back to communicating and I see $$ in everything we spend on. Plan is to be totally out by this time next year.
